Check Tuesday's U-T (10.24). It was right there. B-7? I forget. I overlooked it, too. It had some funky tagline.

Write up a piece in Word and I'll come over. Or if you want to post sooner, just send it to me in an email and I'll post it for you. Take care.

Never in the recent history has one color been so cool. Pink, yes, pink not adorning a "T" bird or on a flamingo, but on San Jose's Police, in their Sunday best. As official as standard blue, it shown like a bright badge of dedication and sacrifice on those 32 men in pink. Joining the force were San Diego Fire Department and a large parking lot filled with volunteers from all the county. These 4,500 put step after step in common cadence. Lining the pathways was a fan base worthy of a Super bowl . Grandmother, Mother, daughters, and survivors of this horrible breast cancer formed a union of courage forgetting their pain. The finish line with it's balloon filled skies came into sight. 60 miles of tredging up the Torrey Pines grade, thru hilly street after long and seemly endless roads came the charge, on to Pet Co. If Monday is blue, then this Sunday was PINK. Followers held roses, banners, and hope in every shade of that marvelous color. They were there to celebrate a closer step to.... the cure! 11.4 million dollars was raised. San Diego is so cool. When we answer the question, what are Americas colors? We answer, Red White, and Blue but today we must add... pink. God Bless all the blisters, sweat, and tears spent last weekend. Thanks Pink - peace-out
